The saponins and glycocomponents present in Yuccafresh binds with preformed ammonia present in water and forms irreversible nitrogen complexes. The saponins further control the production of urease enzyme, thereby reducing overall ammonia production. Polyphenols and glycocomponents in Yuccafresh help in controlling other harmful gases like hydrogen sulphide (H2S).
